2018 School Accountability Grades
Below is a sortable database of the state and federal accountability grades for schools in Indiana. One-third of schools received different ratings from the state than the federal government, after attempts to align with the federal accountability system stalled in March 2018.
These grades are calculated using students' academic growth on the 2017-2018 ISTEP+ scores and other academic metrics, such as graduation rates for high schools.

The Every Student Succeeds Act, or ESSA, does not have an accountability system for private schools, because they do not receive federal funding.
