State School Funding Estimates Through 2021
Below is a sortable database of state school funding estimates based on Indiana’s next two-year budget. Lawmakers approved a statewide 2.5 percent increase in school funding each year of the biennium, with estimates of how much individual districts and schools could receive based on their past enrollment and complexity data.
These estimates are calculated using school run data and analysis of the percent change in funding each year compared to fiscal year 2019.
Schools will not know the actual amount of total state funding support until student enrollment, or “actual daily membership” counts are completed.
Percent change is calculated based on the estimates of state funding for schools per year.
