CARES Act Funding For Indiana Schools
The federal CARES Act includes the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief fund, to help schools – private and public – adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic. This data includes the final allocation for Indiana schools, based upon each school corporations population low-income students – also known as the Title I formula.
Funding support sent to traditional public school districts will be shared with private schools within the district's boundary. The latest guidance from the U.S. Department of Education directs schools to split the funding support based on total enrollment.
