IPBS television and radio stations are essential resources for lifelong learning.
Every IPBS member television station proudly carries PBS KIDS programming and features award-winning series for entire families. In a national poll conducted by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, 85% of respondents believe that PBS helps children learn reading, math, and essential skills. Likewise, IPBS member radio stations are a source for entertaining and educational programs. In both cases, diverse ideas are explored and Hoosiers are inspired to learn about the world around them.
IPBS is committed to bringing the power of its content into the classroom, whether at school or home. Its content is available to every Hoosier learner of every age over-the-air and free of charge to help them prepare for success in life.
But it doesn’t end there. IPBS is also committed to helping teachers and parents engage students in new and different ways by making a multitude of media and instructional resources readily available.
It’s no wonder that IPBS is referred to as Indiana’s largest classroom.
