Host Jon Schwantes and his guests go in-depth on the top issues being debated by the Indiana Legislature. Entering its 40th season, Indiana Lawmakers is the longest running public affairs program in the state. Check local listings for days and times.
Indiana Week in Review
A lot can happen in an Indiana week! Expert panelists that span the political spectrum join host Brandon Smith to debate the hottest topics of the week on the state and national scene. There’s no telling how the conversation will turn, but viewers and listeners can count on it being informative, candid, and lively. Indiana Week in Review airs weekly on many IPBS television and radio stations. Check local listings for days and times.
Statehouse Addresses
An informed public is a knowledgable one. IPBS proudly produces and distributes the governor’s annual State of the State address that is delivered to the Indiana General Assembly. In addition, it proudly produces the chief justice’s State of the Judiciary address and commissioner’s State of Higher Education address.
IPB News
Indiana Public Broadcasting News is an independent, nonprofit newsroom that provides in-depth, long-term coverage of vital issues facing the citizens of Indiana. IPB News covers a range of topics across multiple reporting beats, including government and politics, health and science, environment and energy, business and economics, and education. It distributes broadcast and digital reports to nine public media stations in Indiana and throughout the country for National Public Radio. IPB News has been in existence since 2015 and is underwritten by generous grants from Lilly Endowment, Inc. and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
